Lindsay has been an invaluable member of the Nu-leaf team. She is very passionate about natural health and she seeks to educate, motivate and empower her patients at every opportunity. Her main goal as a health care professional is to help her patients achieve their true health and wellbeing potential. She believes there is nothing more valuable in this lifetime than health and happiness!

Through this experience, I have known from an early age that my passion lies in natural health and striving to achieve optimal wellbeing and disease prevention.”
Lindsay is now a qualified member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and a graduate of the highly regarded Southern School of Natural Therapies (SSNT). It is here that she completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy and obtained the highest level of education and training in many areas. These include: herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, dietary andlifestyle coaching, iridology, homoeopathy, energetic flower remedies, and health and wellbeing counseling. Lindsay is also proficient in VLA and Bio-impedance body analysis and is a qualified Hemaview live blood screening practitioner.
Lindsay understands that being a skilled practitioner requires constant professional and personal development and is dedicated to providing her patients with the best and most accurate advice. She attends regular educational seminars and has a keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest evidence based research in her field. She uses this knowledge to provide an integrative approach to treatment, incorporating evidence based medicine with long-standing traditional naturopathic philosophy to develop an individualised treatment approach for each of her patients.
Melanie Adamo
Melanie has been a part of the team at Nu-Leaf since mid 2005 as a receptionist and more recently as a practitioner. Melanie is very passionate about health and has a strong belief in healing the body naturally following the vital naturopathic principles and philosophy. She has spent the past 6 years studying at the nationally recognized Endeavour College of Natural Health (ECNH) formerly known as the Australian College of Natural Medicine (ACNM). In 2008 Melanie graduated with the Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy, and in 2009 she completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Naturopathy. Since early 2009 Melanie has been practicing out of a home based clinic in Traralgon, as well as doing reception work at the Malvern East clinic.
Melanie understands the need for ongoing education to better meet the needs of her clients and to help them to be the best that they can. By using a wide range of treatments such as: herbal medicine; nutrition medicine; dietary and lifestyle strategies; as well as mind and body medicine, Melanie aims to improve her patients’ health and address any concerns or health issues that may be blocking the path to optimum vitality. She regularly attends seminars and workshops to further develop her knowledge and skills, keeping her up to date with the developments and research in natural health care.
As a naturopath Melanie hopes to reach out to her patients, and inspire them to get the most out of their life. Melanie practices based on the fundamental philosophies of natural medicine integrated with the most recent scientific evidenced based research and she feels educating people on how to better enrich their lives is the key to optimal wellbeing. Melanie see’s each patient as an individual, and she is determined to assist in improving health and to address and concerns that may be challenging the wellbeing of the patient.
Melanie specializes in stress, emotional wellbeing and mental health conditions, as well as having a keen interest in immune health and digestive function. Melanie also sees patients for a variety of other health reasons such as: weight loss, reproductive and fertility conditions, cardiovascular health, and general wellbeing.
